The optimeowzer app is a health-tracking app for your favorite feline friend. What started as a few screens developed into an entire brand of cat wellness products. Now including wet food, dry food, cat nip, and even merchandise for humans and cats alike – optimeowzer has become less of a health-tracking app and more of a healthy mindset for both your cat and yourself.

I was really intrigued by the idea of a cyborg cat, and I wanted the UI of the app to reflect that. Part Terminator, part Robocop, this health app is cutting-edge, sophisticated, and forward-thinking. Optimize your experience while you’re optimeowzing your cat.

As I was developing this project, I thought that the idea for the app needed a little more depth. With that in mind, I decided to develop an entire cat wellness brand under the name ‘optimeowzer’. This currently includes dry food, wet food, and organic cat nip flower; however, similar to my feline friends – I try to stay as agile as possible.

This currently includes dry food, wet food, and organic cat nip flower; however, similar to my feline friends – I try to stay as agile as possible.
The dry food bags are meant to both fit in and stand out. Each design is color-coded for each stage of your cat’s life – kitten, adult and senior. Furthermore, customers can see which flavor their getting via the top of the bag as well as the front.
My cats look forward to ‘wet food time’ everyday. I was certain that optimeowzer would have a line of wet food to help round out their product line-up. The sound of the top popping is enough to drive any cat into a frenzy of excitement. Furthermore, wet food is a great way to help cats lose weight. The water in wet food helps cats feel more full without adding unnecessary calories to their diet.

Cats love the smells and the textures of the different kinds of nip and cat owners love that nip can distract their cats for hours allowing them to focus on their jobs, making meals, or just not being bothered by their energetic little babies.
I wanted to have a little fun with this. I thought it would be funny to have cats model the merchandise as opposed to humans. I couldn’t help but give my sweet babies a shout out on my site. These are my 2 cats, Homer (yellow) and Sheba (black). They didn’t not love modeling for these photos, but the result is absolutely worth it.
